Hot Potato Social Media has been recognized with an Award of Excellence by the Communicator Awards for website design, taking home the visual appeal award for its stunning use of visual content.
The 2013 Communicator Awards received over 6,000 entries from ad agencies, interactive agencies, production firms, in-house creative professionals, graphic designers, design firms, and public relations firms.
Entries are judged to evaluate distinction in creative work. In determining Excellence and Distinction Winners, entries are judged on their merits against a standard of excellence based on the 19-year history of The Communicator Awards, considering the category entered. Entries are scored on a 100-point scale by the judges. Generally, Excellence Winners receive a score of 90 or above and Distinction Winners receive a score of 70 to 89.
“We are very honored to be recognized with an award of excellence for website design/visual appeal,” said Neil Brown, Chief Potato Head. “The goal of the Hot Potato sight was a bold visual aesthetic, eye candy, coupled with insightful content. Because effective internet and social media marketing is certainly a combination of both.”
