My Lucky Elephant Movie – Internet and Social Media Marketing

Hot Potato Social Media recently helped launch a feel good, children’s live action feature film, My Lucky Elephant.


The movie was filmed entirely in Thailand by director Eric Schwab, a veteran director who has worked extensively with acclaimed director Brian DePalma on such films as “Mission: Impossible”, “Mission: Impossible III”, “Casualties of War”, “Carlito’s Way”, and “Snake Eyes.” He recently directed a large portion of DePalma’s film about the Iraq war, “Redacted”, and “Valkyrie”, starring Tom Cruise.


First, Hot Potato developed a search-optimized website with such features as a movie trailer, and an embedded YouTube video, an automatic Twitter feed, a picture gallery, and importantly, an e-commerce page that links to several retail websites.


Next, Hot Potato developed and integrated key social media networks including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest.


My Lucky Elephant will launch to North America in major retail outlets like WalMart, Best Buy, and Barnes & Noble on February 26, 2013.
